Tax bills are due Dec. 12.

The State Department of Revenue Administration has confirmed the Town of Amherst's 2013 property tax rate at $26.45 per $1,000 of assessed valuation. This represents an increase of 17 cents per thousand dollars of property valuation, compared to the 2012 rate of $26.28.
