POLICE LOG: Amherst Police Arrests Shoplifters

The following information was supplied by the Amherst Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

[Tuesday, Nov. 13]

At 6:30 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on New Boston Road (car v. deer).  No injuries were reported. The driver was James Kennedy, 37, of Mont Vernon.

[Wednesday, Nov. 14]

At 11:20 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Mark Frank, 26, of 83 Old Hillcrest Drive, Greenville on a charge of driving after suspension. Frank was released on $800 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for November 29, 2012 at the Milford District Court.

[Thursday, Nov. 15]

At 8:01 a.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on Route 101A at Ponemah Road. No injuries were reported. The drivers were Leslie Anderson, 49, of Amherst and Kathleen Hopkins, 65, of Amherst.

At 1357 hours, the Amherst Police Department arrested Kaitlyn M. Pillsbury, 20, of 99 Hanover Street, Manchester on a charge of willful concealment/shoplifting. Pillsbury was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for November 29, 2012 at the Milford District Court.

At 3:57 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on Route 101A at Craftsman Lane. No injuries were reported. The drivers were Kevin Law, 19, of Milford and Linda Galloway, 60, of Pelham.

[Sunday, Nov. 18]

At 11:49 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested James W. Brzowski, 56, of 28 Westview Road, Brookline on charges of willful concealment/shoplifting, theft by deception and attempt to commit theft by deception. Brzowski was released on $500 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for December 6, 2012 at the Milford District Court.
