Animal Hospital of Nashua Offering Free Microchips for Pets

The new animal hospital in Amherst will host a free microchip clinic on Sunday.

Give yourself the best odds of finding a lost pet with a free microchip courtesy of your local animal hospital.
The Animal Hospital of Nashua in Amherst is offering a free microchip clinic on July 14 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Call ahead at 603-554-8100 to reserve your chip.

All are welcome to attend at 105 Ponemah Road, and there will be giveaways, raffles and more. 

Microchips are tiny transmitters (about the size of a grain of rice) that are implanted by injection just under the skin, between the shoulder blades.

Your pet does not need to be anesthetized to have a microchip placed, and the microchip does not cause any pain or discomfort.
