Varsity Field Hockey Knocked Out in Quarter Finals

Finished the regular season as the three seed in Division II.

The Souhegan varsity field hockey team finished an outstanding regular season as the three seed, but their season ended with a loss in the quarter finals on Sunday.  The team hosted the Merrimack Valley Pride who was ranked sixth. Merrimack Valley took a 1-0 lead late in the first half.

Souhegan's Gina Mancini scored mid way through the second half to tie the contest at 1-1.  The Merrimack Valley Pride score a late goal to give the visitors a 2-1 score and a ticket into the semi finals.
