Souhegan Girls Advance to Quarter-Finals

The Sabers will play again Saturday.

The Souhegan Sabers, ranked third as the Division II girls' soccer tournament opens, hosted the 14th-ranked Lebanon Raiders and the host came away with an exciting 2-1 victory. 

Meghan Camello scored Souhegan's first goal late in the first half. Early in the second half Peyton Kent crossed the ball into the goal area and Hailey Johnson headed the ball into the net. 

Lebanon scored a late goal to make the final score Souhegan 2 and Lebanon 1. Souhegan will host the sixth-ranked Goffstown Grizzlies on Saturday at 2 p.m.
