Souhegan Co-op District's $18.1M Budget Reviewed

Amherst and Mont Vernon voters will be asked to approve a budget that represents a $141,000 increase over the current spending package.

The Souhegan Cooperative School District’s proposed 2014-2015 budget of $18.1 million to operate Souhegan High School for Amherst and Mont Vernon students is now headed to a Feb. 1 deliberative session, according to The Telegraph.

The proposed spending package, if adopted at the March 11 Town Meeting, represents an increase of $141,000, or 0.8 percent, over the current budget, the Nashua newspaper reported.
