SHS Robotics Comedy Night Tonight

Boston Comics Dan Boulger, Will Noonan and Christine Hurley will provide plenty of laughs.

Amherst residents who need some good laughs to ward off this week's deep freeze may want to head to the Souhegan High School auditorium on Saturday night.

The SHS FIRST Team Entropy 138 will host the 13th Annual Comedy Night at 7 p.m, according to Christina DeCesare Len. She explained in an e-mail the event is the Team’s primary fundraiser to support its participation in the FIRST Robotics Competition.

She wrote that tickets for this year’s Comedy Night are $20 at the door, or $15 in advance. Advance tickets are available from team members, or by email at roboticsteam138@gmail.com or by emailing Allan McGuy at themcguys@comcast.net.

She also noted this year’s comedy line-up features three acclaimed comedians from the Boston comedy scene including Dan Boulger, Will Noonan, and Christine Hurley. Select members of the robotics team will launch their own acting debut in a skit written and directed by Dave Brooks.

A bake sale and silent auction will also be held during the event offering not only a night of laughter, but also great food and fantastic deals from area merchants.
