Schools Releasing Students Early Tuesday Due to Storm

The snow is expected to begin falling on Tuesday morning.

Schools in Amherst and Merrimack will release students 2 hours early on Tuesday due to the approaching storm.

The decision was made early Tuesday morning. Many other districts announced early release schedules on Monday night.

The Clark-Wilkins School in Amherst also released the following additional information on Tuesday morning:

  • We will be having early dismissal today, February 18th—Clark School will dismiss at 12:45 P.M. and Wilkins School will dismiss at 12:50 P.M.
  • No afternoon preschool or Kindergarten today, February 18th.
  • The Clark-Wilkins Young Inventor's Program has been rescheduled to Wednesday, February 19th at 6:15 P.M. in the multipurpose room at Wilkins.
  • The Grade Four Music Programs will take place on Thursday, February 20th—First program will begin at 6:30 and second program will begin at 7:30 P.M.
