Film Crew Descends on Souhegan High

New Hampshire Department of Education film crew taped a segment for new documentary at the high school on Monday.

SAU 39 officials said Tuesday that a New Hampshire Department of Education film crew visited Souhegan High School on Monday to highlight some of the programs and teaching techniques for a new documentary project.

According to Maryann Buonadonna, the executive assistant to School Superintendent Peter Warburton, the film crew taped a segment at the high school.

Last week, the Union Leader reported the Amherst public schools would be featured in a new New Hampshire Department of Education documentary that highlights innovative schools statewide.

2Revolutions was scheduled to send a film crew to town to showcase some of the exemplary practices that can serve as models for other schools across the state, the Manchester newspaper reported.

Details on which education programs, faculty members and staff were featured in the film crew's segment on Monday were not readily available on Tuesday. SAU 39 is one of several New Hampshire school districts that will be featured in the state Department of Education's documentary project.
