How Much is Your Neighbor's House Worth?
It's easy to check the assessed value of homes on any street in Amherst.
Ever wondered how much the house across the street is worth? Or how much that big waterfront property in town might go for?
Well, there's an easy way to find out. The Town of Amherst keeps track of the assessed values of all of the homes in town on its website. Granted, it's not the same as the price a house might sell for, but it can at least give you an idea of how much a property is worth.
All you have to do is go to the Vision Online Appraisal site and enter the street address of the home you're interested in. Or you can just type in a street name without the exact street number, and you'll be able to check out the values of all the properties on your street.
