VIDEO: Rick Santorum: Ahmadinejad Wants To Bring About End Times

The Republican candidate warned voters in NH that the Iranian president is seeking mutual destruction to bring back an Islamic prophet.

Rick Santorum warned voters in New Hampshire that Iran may use nuclear weapons to bring about the end of the world.

He claimed that Iran President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's mention of the the 12th Imam, Muhammad al-Mahdi, in his speeches could be a hint that he wants to use the weapons to bring this savior back.

Believers say that Muhammad al-Mahdi will return just before the end of the world as populations fall into conflict.

Santorum has placed his Catholic faith heavily in his politics, claiming that liberals follow a "religion of self" when speaking about those who don't want religious values mixing into government.

He has also emphasized that America was founded on The Bible and needs to align with its values.

Dear New Hampshire Conservatives, It is your turn to choose and be the example for the rest of the nation. Search within your heart and pick the best person to lead us. Choose the most vetted individual who relates to you and me, have faith in God and ran the government with the constitution as her guide, has proven track record in governance, sincere and trustworthy to run a cronyism free government, brave and willing to serve yet reluctant to present herself to become the leader of our great nation. On January 10th, free yourself from the establishment and Vote ROGUE. Write-in Sarah Palin!

Yes, by all means, please write-in Sarah Palin. You wear everything else on your sleeve, might as well include your IQ.

Although Santorum's claims seem "out there," and were quickly denounced by most in the media, it is not far from the truth. Ahmadenijab belongs to the Ta’jiliyan (translated as the "hasteners") sect of the Twelver branch of Shia Islam. This sect believes that the twelfth imam will return to Earth in the end times, and Ahmadenijab wants to hasten this Imam's approach by exacerbating the tension between East and West. He also declared in 2005 that Israel should be "wiped off the map." Whatever your views on Santorum are, his statement is worth looking into.
