Search In Brutal Home Invasion Case Reaches Amherst

Crews were seen along Route 101 in connection to the violent home invasion in Bedford on Saturday.

Police and state officials were seen combing Route 101 in Amherst in relation to a violent home invasion that left a Bedford couple hospitalized, according to WMUR.

Four Fish and Game Department trucks and an unmarked state police car were seen searching along Route 101 near Route 122, a few miles away from the scene of the attack.

Many details have yet to be released in the attack on Eduardo and Sonia Quesada in their home at 7 Proclamation Court. Sonia Quesada, who went to a neighbor for help as she was covered in blood, was treated and released for her injuries.

Eduardo Quesada, a local anesthesiologist who has worked at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester, remains hospitalized in Boston.

The FBI and Drug Enforcement Agency are now involved with the case along with local law enforcement and the state Attorney General's Office.
