POLICE LOG: Accident Leads To DWI Arrest

The following information was supplied by the Amherst Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

[Monday, March. 19]

At 10:34 a.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on Route 101A.  No injuries were reported. The drivers were Joan Salisbury, 43, of Wilton and Michelle Hussey, 48, of Wilton.

The Amherst Police Department investigated a reported theft by deception which occurred at Walmart this same date at about 3:44 p.m.

[Tuesday, March. 20]

At 1:41 a.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on Merrimack Road.  No injuries were reported. The driver was Martha Redington, 51, of Amherst. Redington was charged with DWI.

At 2 a.m. hours, the Amherst Police Department arrested Martha Sue Redington, 51, of 2 Chatham Court, Amherst on a charge of DWI.  Redington was released on $500 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for April 5, 2012 in the Milford District Court.

The Amherst Police Department investigated a report of willful concealment which occurred at Walmart this same date at about 9:36 a.m.

At 5:30 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a 4 car accident on Route 101A.  No injuries were reported. The drivers were Jacquelyn Cook, 25, of Peterborough, Rosalind Somero, 25, of New Ipswich, Polina Riabov, 19, of Nashua and Justin Wrenn, 20, of Milford.

[Wednesday, March. 21]

At 2:45 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to the a two-car accident in the Walmart Parking Lot.  No injuries were reported. The drivers were Leroy Banks, 85, of Amherst and a parked vehicle.

At 5:29 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a three-car accident on Route 101A.  No injuries were reported. The drivers were Lixia Liang, 48, of Milford, Janice Divenuti, 60, of Merrimack and Jessica Ryan, 23, of Nashua.

[Thursday, March. 22]

At 3:25 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Gregory Isabelle, 27, of 524 Boston Post Road, Merrimack on a charge of driving after suspension.  Isabelle was released on $2,500  personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for April 5, 2012 in the Milford District Court.
