Man Arrested For Carrying Unlicensed Handgun, Drug Charges

[Friday, Jan. 4]

At 9:49 a.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident in the parking lot of Walt’s Shell, 148 Amherst Street.  No injuries were reported. The drivers were Marc Jordan, 48, of Ctr Barnstead and Emanuel Cardinale, 66, of Amherst.

At 5:46 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on Route 101A at Craftsman Lane.  No injuries were reported. An unknown driver hit Tanya Lauro, 35, of Manchester.

[Saturday, Jan. 5]

At 2:30 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Colton Wayne Morris, 23, of 85 Raven Drive, Chester on charges of possession of a controlled drug, transportation of a controlled drug and carrying a loaded handgun without a license. Morris was released on $10,000 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for January 17, 2013 at the Milford District Court.

At 2:30 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested John William Adley, 25, of 25 Kingston Drive, Nashua on a charge of possession of a controlled drug. Adley was released on $300 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for January 17, 2013 at the Milford District Court.

[Sunday, Jan. 6]

At 2:30 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Kristen Gail McCrady, 38, of 41 London Court, Merrimack on charge of DWI. McCrady was released on $600 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for January 17, 2013 at the Milford District Court.

At 10:04 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on Amherst Street (car v. deer). No injuries were reported. The driver was Jamie Cheever, 21, of Milford.

[Monday, Jan. 7]

At 7:58 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Steven Charles Murnane, 50, of 18 Nashua Road #1, Pelham on charges of DWI, driving after suspension, disobeying a police officer and open container law. Murname was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for January 17, 2013 at the Milford District Court.
