The Amherst Fire Department responded to the following calls, according to its recent activity logs.
April 11
- 9:16 p.m., firefighters responded to Amherst Street for a report of an odor of smoke in the area.
- 2:10 p.m., firefighters responded to Mont Vernon Road for a reported illegal burn.
- 1 p.m., firefighters responded to Merrimack Road for a reported brush fire.
- 1:03 a.m., firefighters responded to The Flume for a reported fire alarm activation.
