At The Preschool in the Village, we have morning and afternoon options for your Kindergarten student.
Morning Kindergarten Program - The Preschool in the Village is pleased to offer a morning enrichment program for children attending afternoon kindergarten at Clark School. The schedule consists of a balance of free choice and structured play activities; the children will play and then have their lunch together. The children will be dropped of at PIV between 8:00am and 8:15am and will be walked to the Clark school playground for a noon time kindergarten start.
Afternoon Kindergarten Program Children are met at Clark School at 11:15am and walk to the Preschool. We recognize that the children have been in a classroom all morning and need time to unwind and rest as the second half of their day begins. The children have lunch together; followed by quiet time, free play activities and outside time. The schedule for the afternoon consists of free choice and structured activities. A teacher directed activity is offered each day. Your child will be walked back to Clark school to catch the school bus there, or can be picked up by 3:00pm.
