What the heck is a Thunderclap?
We are pulling out all the stops to get the word out about Merrimack Rocks on September 28th and for that reason we are asking everyone to support us in giving one big Thunderclap so that everyone knows what our event is all about
WHAT IS A THUNDERCLAP?
Thunderclap is the first crowd-speaking platform that helps people be heard by saying something together.HOW DOES IT WORK?
If enough people support it, Thunderclap will blast out a timed Facebook Post or Tweet from all your supporters, creating a wave of attention.WHO'S USING IT?
Merrimack Rocks is using it to help with the promotion for our event by creating a ThunderClap campaign. If you're not familiar with it, the short story is that people can add the power of their Twitter or Facebook network to the promotion by allowing the same message to be sent out at the same time. Organizations throughout the country have been using it for over a year to help get their message out with great success. We could really use everyones help to get the information out . We need 100 supporters for the Thunderclap campaign to be activated. It literally takes 3 clicks and less than 30 seconds. Your assistance is much appreciated. Merrimack Rocks is an opportunity for people to come out and celebrate Merrimack and some of the citizens who make Merrimack great. It gives citizens a chance to honor Corporal Timothy Gibson who gave the ultimate sacrifice during the Iraq war, Pete Gagnon a citizen who volunteered for 39 years on the planning board in Merrimack and been a major architect in managing the towns growth from 6,000 to 29,000 citizens and all Merrimack High State Championship teams
There are other reasons to attend this free event such as live music from "The Shotz, The World Famous Budweiser Clydesdales and beer wagon as well as fireworks but the real reason to show is to honor two great men who gave Merrimack everything they could,as well as all the student athletes who have brought glory to Merrimack.
Lets do Merrimack proud and be seen and heard on September 28th at 4PM at Watson Park on DW Highway in Merrimack NH.
