Sponsors still needed for "Merrimack Rocks"

As we approach September we are in the final planning stages of "Merrimack Rocks". We thank all the sponsors who have come forward to help finance and support this worthwhile event. We have been blessed with alot of generosity from both our presenting sponsor ESPN New Hamphire---The Monahan Companies and Silver sponsors such as All Basics Stove Shop, The DW Diner and Bellavance Beverage, but we are still short of our goal to ensure a first rate fireworks show, entertainment  and to have the proper advertising for such an event as well as the awards, incidentals, porta potties, shuttle buses etc....

Make no mistake we are well on our way, but we hope some other businesses  step up if they feel this is a worthwhile cause.

Event – Merrimack Rocks – A celebration of Merrimack and its citizens - September 28th 2013 5PM – 9PM at Watson Park- Free admission to all. On a voluntary basis, there will be opportunities for attendees to donate to a Merrimack High Scholarship Fund that will help current and future generations of Merrimack school children pursue further education thus helping them improve themselves, our town, state and country.

Description- An evening of live music, fireworks and tribute, celebrating Merrimack and honoring hometown hero, Corporal Timothy Gibson who gave the ultimate sacrifice to help ensure that we can continue to live the American way of life. The family event will also honor all Merrimack High School state championship athletic teams and honor Pete Gagnon, a town volunteer who has spent decades helping to make Merrimack a great place to live. The event will commence with the arrival of the world famous Budweiser Clydesdales team, complete with beer wagon, parading up Daniel Webster Highway and stopping at Watson Park
