Tribal Art of North America

There are so many wonderful types of art to explore close to home made by the different tribes found in Native America! We'll create totem poles, make weavings, decorate pottery and carve like the Inuit do and create intricate beadwork while we learn about some of the hundreds of tribes and the rich traditions present in their artwork.  For grades 2-4.  All materials included.  Program requires pre-registration.  About
the instructor:  Amherst resident Brandie Pettus is a former
Graphic Designer and Illustrator. She says "My lessons combine Art History, world cultures and a variety of media--I love all sorts of art and it all makes it into my lessons!"
