Winter Storm 'Nemo' Threatens 12-24+ Inches of Snow

The National Weather Service continues to monitor the storm track, which could be our big storm of 2013.

Here is the latest on Nemo, as named by the Weather Channel, a significant winter storm heading to New Hampshire. 

The National Weather Service update as of 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 6

* LOCATIONS: Southern New Hampshire as well as Western and Central Mass.

* HAZARD TYPES: Heavy Snow.

* ACCUMULATIONS: 12-24+ inches in Nashua

* TIMING: Light snow will develop Friday morning and increase throughout the day with heaviest snow coming Friday night into Saturday morning. Heavy snow and gusty winds up to 45 mph will bring the potential for near blizzard conditions. Snowfall rates of 2-3 inches per hour possible, with travel becoming nearly impossible.
