5 Things: Stores Opening VERY Early For Black Friday

All my friends know the low rider. The low rider is a little Patch.

2. Friends in need. A 12-member team from the New Hampshire State Police has been deployed to New Jersey to help police deal with Hurricane Sandy's aftermath. They arrived on Saturday and will be deployed for eight days.

3. Patch Fact: The Globe Theatre was an early English theater in London. Most of the great English playwright William Shakespeare's plays were first presented at the Globe.

4. Early birds? Target is the latest store to succumb to the pressure of getting shoppers in before Thanksgiving Day is even over. It joins Walmart and Sears stores, who are making Black Friday plans as early as 8 p.m. that Thursday.

5. DIY peanut butter? Averie Cooks has the dish on how to make homemade peanut butter that is much tastier (and healthier) than the store bought variety. YUM!
