Target Data Breach May Affect 232K in NH

Target said about 94 million accounts across the country were hacked.

Close to a quarter-million New Hampshire credit and debit cards may have been affected by the Target data breach this month.

The retail giant on Friday confirmed card password information was stolen, according to CNN. The breach happened from Black Friday to Dec. 15. 

WMUR-TV's David Sakowich reported 232,000 credit and debit cards were used at New Hampshire Target stores during the breach period.

Target said about 94 million accounts across the country were hacked.

Officials have said people who used cards during the breach period should change their passwords.
