Orange Leaf is Coming to Amherst

The new self-serve frozen yogurt shop will be located off Route 101A.

Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt is opening a new store on Route 101A in Amherst, a company spokesperson confirmed Wednesday.

The store, located in the Meadowbrook Crossing plaza between Pet Life and GNC, is expected to open by Sept. 18 if all goes as planned, according to company spokesman Richard Mills. Coming soon and now hiring signs went up in the storefront this week.

Orange Leaf Yogurt is a self-serve frozen yogurt shop with more than 200 stores across the country. It has locations in Concord, Epping, Exeter and Portsmouth, with future locations planned in Nashua, Derry, Bedford and Salem.

It has more than 60 flavors, and each store has 16 flavors available at a time. The store is self-serve; customers choose their own flavors and toppings and are charged using the "weigh and pay" system.

Orange Leaf got its start in California in 2008, and is now based out of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
