Free Froyo at Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt in Amherst at Grand Opening

Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt at 124 Route 101A is throwing a grand opening party this Saturday, April 12, with free froyo from noon until 3 p.m.

Owner Rajiv Patel first opened the Orange Leaf franchise in Amherst on Sept. 24, 2013, and planned Saturday's celebration to coincide with the return of warmer weather, according to Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt.

Besides free frozen yogurt between those three hours Saturday, Patel has lined up family-friendly entertainment, including a local face painter, air-brush artist and balloon artist.

"We are excited to be involved locally and give back in the future with fundraisers and partnerships," Patel said in a press release. "That’s what the Orange Leaf brand is all about."
