Alex Preston Wows on Idol Again

Alex Preston had another very good week on American Idol, singing "The A Team" by Ed Sheeran during "Competitor's Pick" episode April 16.

It was so good that judge Harry Connick Jr. gushed and said, "This was my favorite performance of the night."

Only at the end of the show did Connick change his tune, as he lauded Jena Irene, who sang Radiohead's "Creep."

American Idol airs on FOX at 9 tonight, April 17, at which time the Top 7 finalists will be whittled down again.
