Preston on The Buzz: "I definitely want to stay true to who I am as an artist."
Greg and The Morning Buzz interviewed American Idol finalist Alex Preston on April 23, ahead of the show's big showdown tonight among the final six performers.
Preston, a Mont Vernon native and Souhegan high graduate, spoke with host Greg Kretschmar and the Buzz about the excitement on stage and off stage on American Idol.
"Throughout this competition, I don't want to change I'd rather just grow as an artist," Preston said on air. "I definitely want to stay true to who I am as an artist and not change for the hell of it, you know."
Preston said he loves the life of a musician. Kretschmar asked him what song he would like to sing, that he has yet to sing on the show. Preston said "Elephant," by Damien Rice.
