Alex Preston Moves on to American Idol's Top 11
The Mont Vernon native will get his next chance to perform on March 12.
Souhegan High graduate Alex Preston survived another week on American Idol, making it through Thursday night's elimination vote.
The 20-year-old Mont Vernon native has now made it to the Top 11.
"Thank you so much. TOP 11!!!" Preston Tweeted on Thursday night. "Please keep voting! I love my fans. I love my family. I love everyone."
He made it through despite a performance on Wednesday night that drew criticism from all three judges. Ultimately, though, it was the viewers who decided who moved on.
Preston will get his next chance to impress America on Wednesday, March 12 at 8 p.m. on Fox.
