Alex Preston was safe again this week on American Idol, and he is now one of the top eight.
Preston, a Souhegan High graduate from Mont Vernon, has got plenty of support from his home town and New Hampshire as he strives to become ... the next American Idol.
He performed an original, "Fairy Tales," which appears to have won over judges and audience, both. His song is rising in the music charts, he noted on Twitter.
American Idol airs on FOX on Wednesdays (8/7c) and Thursdays (9/8c).
