4 Amherst Runners Participating in the One Run for Boston

The relay run supports a fund for Boston Marathon bombing survivors and their families.

Four of the 20 runners from New Hampshire participating in the One Run for Boston are from Amherst. The event was created to help support the Boston Marathon bombing survivors and their families.

Darren Garnick, Jay Hinspeter, Kathryn Coughlin and Nicolasa Moreau are the four runners from Amherst. Click their names to see or contribute to their fund-raising page.

Maya Holt is one of the eight runners from Nashua participating. On her fund-raising page, she notes she is a co-worker of Jeff Bauman at Costco Wholesale in Nashua.

The run began in Santa Monica on March 16 and will finish in Boston on April 13, two days before the first anniversary of last year’s tragic events. 

The first One Run for Boston was organized just weeks after the bombing, raising $91,000 for the One Fund to assist survivors and the families impacted.
