Troubled Teacher Resigns

Cassandra Beauchesne was arrested multiple times and spent a weekend in jail for attacking her estranged husband.

A Goffstown teacher who was sent to jail for domestic violence charges has resigned from her position and relocated, according to a story in The Union Leader.

Former Maple Avenue Elementary School teacher Cassandra Beauchesne spent the weekend in jail after multiple incidents with her husband over the past year.

Beauchesne is now living in Amherst after moving out of her home in Merrimack, according to court documents. She has a two-year-old child.

The teacher was arrested  in September for swinging a law chair and damaging her husbands computer and contacting him after being ordered by a judge to have no communication.

She was arrested on four counts of simple assault last December for slapping, punching and choking her husband, then arrested again this March for hitting and choking him again.
