POLL RESULTS: Ron Paul Understands the Economy

The majority of participants in said that Ron Paul has the best understanding of economic issues.

As of 3:45 p.m. today, a total of 45 percent of voters said that Ron Paul proves to know about America's economy.

A total of 606 people participated in this Amherst Patch Poll.

Herman Cain and Rick Santorum tied for second place with 16 percent of the vote respectively.

Newt Gingrich received 9 percent of the vote, just barely winning over Romney's 8 percent.

Michele Bachmann received zero votes.
