POLL RESULTS: Ron Paul Won GOP Debate

that Ron Paul was the obvious favorite amongst those who watched the Google/Fox News Debate last night, but Herman Cain also outpaced the other candidates.

As of 4:30 p.m. today, 51 percent of visitors said that Paul performed best at the latest republican debate. Herman Cain came out strong with 37 percent of the vote.

The rest of the candidates couldn't break out of the single digits, although Mitt Romney was the only one among them to get more than 100 votes at 5 percent. Newt Gingrich came in fourth place with 2 percent of the vote.

Gary Johnson, who has only just recently been cast in the national spotlight, garner about the same amount of votes, if not more, than the other candidates who fell lower in the results. 

A total of 1847 votes were cast today after the poll was first posted this morning.
