New Gift Shop Gives

The grand opening of a new local gift shop next week will not only benefit the customers, but also organizations that help those in need.

The Gift Shoppe at Salzburg Square will be hosting their grand opening week Sept. 19–25 and give 10 percent of all proceeds to the Alzheimer’s Association Mass/NH and the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation.

“We are proud to be joining our grand opening with these two excellent organizations,” said shop owner Michael Spyridakis, who lost his mother to Alzheimer’s several years ago.  

Women will receive a long-stem rose with each purchase and every day a new drawing will treat a lucky customer to a special gift.

The all-new shop is offering a wide selection of fine jewelry and gifts made by New England craftsmen as well as novel items like Ravensburger’s  ‘Largest Puzzle in the World.’ Shoppers will also find jewelry crafted by Rhode Island designer John Medeiros as well as ‘Kameleon’, a unique jewelry line with interchangeable stones. Gift ware by Beatriz Ball, a selection of pottery and glassware by Simon Pearce, stemware, fine card lines and hand-blown glass gazing balls will also be featured.  

“We are very excited to be bringing such beautiful, quality merchandise to the area,’ said Lynn Provencher, shop manager. ‘And when it comes to prices, our customers will be very happy.”

Ms. Provencher said new merchandise is coming into the store daily and the offerings during grand opening week will be “nothing short of fabulous.”

“It’s really something to get excited about,’ she said. ‘If you’re looking for that perfect gift, either for yourself, your wife, girlfriend or friend you’ll find it here.’

The Gift Shoppe at Salzburg Square is open Monday through Friday 10 a.m. until 5:30  p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.;  and Sundays 12 p.m. until 4 p.m.
