5 Great Things To Do This Weekend

1. Get a clue! The Amato Center for the Performing Arts in Milford will be presenting Clue: The Musical this weekend. Mrs. Peacock did it in the Library with the wrench! Or was it Colonel Mustard in the ballroom with the candlestick?! Based on the popular board game by Parker Brothers, this hilariously inventive murder-mystery musical starts by bringing 3 audience members onstage to select one card each from three oversized decks. The cards chosen stay hidden in an envelope marked “Confidential” and determine which of the 216 possible endings the show will feature!

2. Bob Marley! Comedian Bob Marley returns to the Palace Theater stage this weekend to celebrate his 15 years as a stand-up comic, he is one of the hottest and most sought-after comedians in the country. He has been featured in his own special on Comedy Central, and is one of the few comics to do the complete late- night TV circuit.

3. Get WILD! Bring the whole family to Discover WILD New Hampshire Day at the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department in Concord. This free outdoor festival that's fun for all ages. Kids can try archery, cast with the “Let’s Go Fishing” program, and create wildlife arts and crafts. Sample a crispy fish fillet or build a bird house. See retriever dogs in action, live animals, big trout, trained falcons and the life-sized "Battling Bull Moose of Fowlertown." Get the latest on conserving energy and protecting our environment. Under the big tent, talk to exhibitors from more than 35 outdoor, conservation and environmental groups from throughout New Hampshire. It's a great way to find out how you and your family can have fun and get connected to life outdoors.

4. Flowing art. East Colony Fine Art Gallery in Manchester will have Adele Sanborn and Verne Orlosk as Feature Artists for the month of April, with their show entitled “Water Is In My Soul.” “All of us carry a sense of spirit within us, and this title symbolizes this sense of wonder that helps me be creative,” says Adele Sanborn, a mixed media artist whose unique work includes and combines calligraphy, photography, papermaking, collage and bookmaking. Please join Adele, Verne, and the other East Colony artists for a very special opening reception on Friday, April 20th, from 5-7 p.m.

5. Get (meta)physical! The 7th Annual Holistic & Metaphysical Fair will be takign place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel this weekend. Receive knowledge on a variety of Holistic and Metaphysical Subjects. Learn about Energy Healing, Shambhalla, Reiki, IET, EFT, Sound Healing Techniques, and more! Throughout the day there will be psychic readings available from some of the best Spiritual Consultants in the New England Area.
